i. salt in the sea

i wanna be as young forever as i am tonight
in rich vein of form
the moon comes past
feelings don't last
good people are too good for me
as sure as there's
salt in the sea

blame my DNA
for all what i have done
on this earth
burning in the blood
salt in the sea

why does the past look like the best time?
in a swirl of ecstacy
the figure of my dreams
cold sweat telepathy
forever i will be
salt in the sea

the fact that you're thinking
proves you're not sinking
full fathom five
depth
has you blinking
through the salt in the sea

'i. salt in the sea' marks the first in a collection of poems entitled 'self'.

These are a collection of poems written in no particular order about thoughts specific to me and mark an entire subjectivity of the recent experiences of my life. Some negative; some positive. This past year has been a particularly difficult one and has pushed me to various limits.
‘blame my DNA for all what I have done’

What makes us human, I believe is becoming to be stamped out. Words are so important, both spoken and on the page. Words make up the most powerful elements of our humanity. So, I'm feeling supersonic, why me why not? SF
