Roll on The Roses!

Breast-plate piercing my heart
Deep into the scars of previous years
Devour me, prince of tears
Allay my fears and emerge triumphant

Echo like the keys of time
Stretched out – a lifetime’s span
Take me home
Away, away

Living in a movie of my dreams – countless days
Everlasting nothing
70’s sepia with a 90’s tone
Take a breath
Sit back on the rug
Sink into cotton clouds above

Roll on the Roses
To send you back in time
Into a
Moonlight Mile
Or
A Paradise of smiles

This is The One
Where I want to be
You see it in the sea
In my rosy paradise.

What makes us human, I believe is becoming to be stamped out. Words are so important, both spoken and on the page. Words make up the most powerful elements of our humanity. So, I'm feeling supersonic, why me why not? SF
