Early Thoughts of Love

A lark that sings in the morning mist
Upon the branches of heavenly bliss
I saw love in other’s eyes
They looked through me
As if they despised
Shadows silhouetted from the moon
Loved and laboured into the dawn
That’s when I saw you for the first time
With another - clear and sublime
